More than 24,000 fans are expected to be at Dignity Health Sports Park on Sunday, Feb. 22, when the Galaxy host New York City FC.
First kick is set for 4 p.m. PT on Apple TV's Sunday Night Soccer, with stadium gates opening at 2:30 p.m. Those who have purchased tickets are advised to arrive by 3 p.m.
Galaxy Acquire Pair of International Roster Slots Ahead of Opener
The LA Galaxy also added flexibility to their roster Friday, acquiring two international roster slots in separate transactions ahead of the 2026 home opener.
The club acquired a 2026 International Roster Slot from Nashville SC in exchange for $140,000 in 2026 General Allocation Money (GAM) and $110,000 in 2027 GAM. The international slot will return to Nashville at the opening of the Secondary Transfer Window on July 13, 2026.
In a separate deal, the Galaxy acquired another 2026 International Roster Slot from Toronto FC, this one held through the entire 2026 season. Toronto received $200,000 in 2026 GAM and $225,000 in 2027 GAM in exchange.
