Los Angeles Clippers SF Kawhi Leonard (2) attacked and pulled up for a jumpsuit in a game against the Denver Nuggets, Saturday April 26th in Inglewood, California.

INGLEWOOD, Calif. -- In sports, sometimes heartbreak is prevalent, and sometimes it happens within mere seconds. On Saturday night at Intuit Dome, Aaron Gordon's dunk as time expired propelled the Nuggets to a 101-99 victory to even the series at 2-2.

Nikola Jokic was an absolute monster for the Nuggets, with 36 points, 21 rebounds and 8 assists to lead Denver to a massive victory on the road.

From the get go, it was clear it would be a battle for the Clippers against a Nuggets team that was on the brink of going down 3-1 and essentially being out of the series.

The offense for the Clippers came out flat and the Nuggets came out firing. Over the course of the game, Los Angeles struggled shooting the basketball, even with the avalanche in the fourth quarter, shooting 33% from three and 44% from the field.

James Harden and Kawhi Leonard were kept under 20 points heading into the 4th quarter, but Leonard ended up with 24 points and 9 rebounds, while Harden had 15 points and 11 assists in 42 minutes.

The x-factor for the Clippers was Norman Powell, who hit multiple threes in the 4th quarter to cut the lead down to 4 and then down to 1. Powell had yet another good game and was a huge spark in their massive run in the final quarter.

The Clippers had been down by as many as 22 points, and took the lead late after Powell's corner three's, Bogdan Bogdanovic's massive offensive rebound and put back and Ivica Zubac's game-tying tip in.

If Powell can continue to have the success he saw at home for the rest of the series, the Clippers will have a solid offensive game plan for whatever the Nuggets throw at them.

Now, the series will shift back to Denver. Will the controversial final bucket by Aaron Gordon be the difference in the series? Will the Nuggets use this fantastic finish to propel themselves at home?

Can the Clippers get back to their winning ways after such a demoralizing loss?

These are all questions that will be answered in a week and a half, and now the series becomes a best-of-three.

Game 5 is set for Tuesday at 7:00 PM PST.
