Holding Court: LA Kings fan "Chooch"

With LA Kings GM Rob Blake under a magnifying glass by the fanbase heading into the 2025 NHL Trade Deadline, he objectively hit a homerun in landing talented and possibly underappreciated forward Andrei Kuzmenko, all while giving up no roster players or prospects, a fear many fans felt would be inevitable in order to improve the team.  

While the Kings are firing on all cylinders and this trade has made Blake look like a mastermind GM, some fans remain critical of Blake, mainly because of the Kings inability to escape the 1st round of the playoffs in his tenure as GM. So I wanted to get to the bottom of the seemingly overly critical perception of Blake, with a fan's perspective; my long time die-hard LA Kings fan brother "Chooch".
