LOS ANGELES -- LAFC has signed midfielder Adam Saldana to a contract through 2025, with club options for 2026 and 2027.

The 23-year-old joins LAFC after spending three seasons with cross-town rivals LA Galaxy, where he made 19 first-team appearances (five starts) following his progression through the club’s academy and MLS NEXT Pro squad. Saldana was also featured in the 2018 USL Championship season with LA Galaxy II, starting in 16 matches during the regular season.

A native of Panorama City, CA, Saldana represented the United States at the U-15 and U-17 levels, consistently earning call-ups throughout his development. He played a key role in helping the U.S. qualify for a record 17th FIFA U-17 World Cup at the 2019 Concacaf U-17 Championship, appearing in six of seven qualifying matches. In total, he earned over 25 caps with the U-17 National Team.
