LAS VEGAS -- WWE president Nick Khan delivered some welcome news at Preview Las Vegas on Thursday, announcing that the second annual WWE World, a fan fest in partnership with Fanatics Events, will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from April 17 to 21 during WrestleMania 41 week.
In addition, Khan announced that Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena will be the host for the going-home edition of Smackdown on Friday, April 18 as well as the popular Raw after WrestleMania on Monday, April 19.
WWE World is an immersive fan experience that debuted in Philadelphia last year in the lead up to WrestleMania XL. The event will feature various exhibits and fan activations in addition to appearances from most of the WWE Superstars on the company roster. Over 40,000 fans attended last year's edition of WWE World across five days.
"You'll see legendary wrestlers there," Khan said "We have an entrance ramp. For anyone who watches the product, you can do your own personalized entrance to any of our superstars' music. It gives someone a take home moment and a lot of other surprises in store for the upcoming WWE World.
"We'll also be here prior to Friday Night SmackDown with the community, obviously promoting the show, promoting the Las Vegas Convention and Visitor's Authority, and promoting the city of Las Vegas globally."
