LOS ANGELES -- The rebrand of the Los Angeles Clippers has been a resounding success amongst Clipper fans. Since 2015, they have been eagerly awaiting a brand refresh and a rehaul of the uniforms.
When the Clippers announced in early 2024, that they would be going for a complete new look for the inaugural season of Intuit Dome, both long time and short term fans were excited all the same.
On Thursday, amidst much speculation, the Clippers released their “City Edition” uniforms, court design and merchandise line to the masses.

Inspired by Clipper fan and local Los Angeles artist Jonas Wood, the design features a similar look to last year’s dark blue “Clips” look, now with what the team is calling “Pacific Blue.”
The court features a tropical look, with the City Edition logo, which includes a flower and cartoon basketball’s drawn into the “A” of “LA.” The hardwood portion has the grains of wood flowing throughout and adds a warmer look to the Intuit Dome floor.

To this day, I believe the best iteration of the City Edition collection was the 2022-2023 Drew League inspired black uniforms. They included the scripting of Los Angeles, as well as the Drew League colored glass around the lettering, with a white trim to outline the shorts and top. Those uniforms not only represented the city extremely well, but were slick on the court to go along with the history.

They really have knocked these out of the park the last few rounds, can’t wait to see these on-court pic.twitter.com/cL0cqDHMZP
My opinion is always of the notion that uniforms will always look better in real life than in renderings, and in this case, it seems to be completely true. I am a big fan of the “Pacific Blue” colorway, to match the continued excellent work by the Clippers to deliver high quality merchandise for the fans.
The uniform and court will debut Sunday, November 17th, as the Clippers host the Utah Jazz at Intuit Dome.
