DETROIT–– Cade Cunningham scored 17 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists, notching his third career triple-double, Jaden Ivey scored 26 points, matching his season-high, to lead the Detroit Pistons (3-5) to a 115-103 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers (4-3) Monday at Little Caesars Arena before 20,062.
Detroit had six players score in double figures, including all five starters.
The Lakers came within six points in the fourth quarter, using a 24-16 third quarter to get within reach; however, Detroit countered with a 32-26 fourth quarter to ice the game.
Detroit led 67-53 at halftime.
The Lakers couldn't match the Pistons' energy, being out-rebounded 55-37. Detroit's bench out-scored Los Angeles 27-10.
Anthony Davis had 37 points and nine rebounds to lead Los Angeles, LeBron James had 20 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds and Austin Reaves scored 17 points.
For Detroit, Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 19 points, Tobias Harris had 15 points and seven rebounds, Ronald Holland II had 12 points and Jalen Duren had 11 points and 14 rebounds.
