The Sporting Tribune is on the radio in California, Las Vegas and Hawaii taken at TST Headquarters (Radio)

LOS ANGELES — The Sporting Tribune has a daily radio show, “The Sporting Tribune Today," that airs in Southern California, Las Vegas and Hawaii.

The Sporting Tribune launched in September 2022 with a focus on sports in Southern California, Las Vegas and Hawaii markets, which is the regional territory for many teams in Southern California such as the Lakers, Clippers, Dodgers and Angels.

"The Sporting Tribune Today" will air every weekday on KIRN-AM (670) and KLOS-FM (95.5 HD3) in Southern California, The Bet in Las Vegas and The Hawaii Sports Radio Network KGU-FM (95.1) and KGU-AM (760) in Hawaii.

670 AM has a long history with sports talk radio in Los Angeles. It simulcasted XTRA Sports 690, which was the first all-sports radio station on the West Coast and third in the country. 670 was part of the XTRA Sports branding in the 1990s when they had a lineup that included Jim Rome, Lee “Hacksaw” Hamilton, and “The Loose Cannons,” Steve Hartman and Chet Forte. Rome did his show for many years from the old 670 studios atop Hot Dog on a Stick at the Fallbrook Mall. The station later had a more Los Angeles-centric sports talk station led by Joe McDonnell and “The Sports Gods,” Dave Smith and Joey Haim.

On Aug. 13, 1999, KIRN-AM went on the air for the first time as the first and still only Persian-language radio station in the United States. The Sporting Tribune's founder and CEO Arash Markazi was an intern at both KWNK-AM and KIRN-AM.

KGU-AM was the first radio station in Hawaii on May 11, 1922. It was known as the 'Voice of Hawaii" for many years and was first on the air after the attack on Pearl Harbor. It is now the home of the Clippers, Angels, USC and "The Sporting Tribune Today" in Hawaii.
