LOS ANGELES — The resounding USC fight song will again echo on the airwaves of ESPN Los Angeles.

The sports station announced a deal on Monday that brings the Trojans back to ESPN LA 710 as flagship radio station beginning this fall.

ESPN LA, which lost the broadcast deal five years go, is back providing fans with play-by-play for USC football and men’s basketball and will add women’s basketball this season. As part of the deal, ESPN LA will offer a Spanish-language football broadcast this season and is returning their “The Trojan Tailgate Show” for USC football games.

As part of its weekly lineup, ESPN LA will introduce “Trojan Live” at 6 p.m. Mondays starting Aug. 26 through Dec. 9. The deal comes at pivotal time for USC athletics as they transition to the Big Ten conference from the Pac 12 Conference next month.

The Trojans football program will be in its first season without former Heisman Trophy quarterback Caleb Williams and a revamped defense under new defensive coordinator D’Anton Lynn. USC men’s basketball follows suit with their new coach Eric Musselman and a revamped roster, featuring 11 transfers.

USC women’s basketball looks to build off a strong 2022-23 season, led by PAC-12 freshman of the year JuJu Watkins and a handful of five-star high school recruits. The Trojans reached the Elite Eight in March's women’s basketball tournament for the first time since 1994.
