Additional details will be provided at a later date.
Brink seemed to slip on the court while making a drive against the Sun's Brionna Jones. She got up hobbling and had to be helped off the court.
It's likely Brink will miss an extended period of time and also likely that she won't be able to participate in the Olympics as she is part of USA Basketball's 3x3 Women's national team.
She had become a defensive presence for the Sparks. Brink is third in blocked shots with 2.3 per game. Her offense has shown flashes as she scored 16 points against the Dream on Sunday and had a career-best 21 points against the Dallas Wings on May 26th.
Cameron Brink was picked second overall in last April's WNBA Draft. In addition to those blocked shots, Brink is averaging 7.5 points and 5.3 rebounds in 15 games.
