UCLA suffers third straight loss after falling to Washington, 94-77

The Bruins are struggling with only three games left in the Pac-12 Conference regular season.

SEATTLE — Washington’s Keion Brooks Jr. lit the Bruins up knocking down a career-hight six 3-pointers on his way to a 32-point performance handing UCLA its third straight loss 94-77 on Thursday night.

Lazar Stefanovic led UCLA (14-14, 8-10) with 22 points. Dylan Andrews scored 21 points and dished 11 assists and Adem Bona added 16 points and snared 11 rebounds.

The issue for the Bruins in this game was on the defensive side. Washington shot 55.6% from the field and an astounding 62.5% from three.

UCLA’s defensive regression has continued to hurt them. The Bruins are allowing 75.3 points during this three game skid.

The largest lead this game for the Bruins was a one-point lead early in the first half.

This loss drops UCLA to fifth in the Pac-12 conference standings.

Before their current losing streak, UCLA were winners of eight out of nine games looking like a team that poised to make a possible run to the NCAA tournament.

UCLA will now look to end their losing streak when they travel to face No. 19 Washington State on Saturday night.
