Rhea Ripley also defeated Becky Lynch in one of the best opening matches at WrestleMania ever.

PHILADELPHIA — All the hype, discussion, and buzz about the return of The Rock as ‘The Final Boss’ leads to a victory in his first WWE match in eight years. The Rock last appeared in a match at WrestleMania 32 in 2016 but tonight alongside his cousin Roman Reigns, they defeated Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins.

After a very slow start in the cold philly air the match picked up and was a thriller and it lived up to the hype. The Rock looked like great, no ring rust and even took a spot through the table. Now it will be Bloodline rules for Rhodes vs. Reigns tomorrow night. It might be time to call back up tomorrow for Cody Rhodes

Rhea Rules: Ripley retains women’s world title at WrestleMania XL

Mami is always on top.

As Triple H opened up WrestleMania XL with the prophetic words:

“Welcome to a new era.”

The new era was ushered in from a sold out Lincoln Financial Field with two massive stars as ‘The Man’ Becky Lynch took on Rhea Ripley in an absolute BANGER!

From the start of the match it was noted that Becky had been dealing with sickness including strep throat and a fever that got up to 102 degrees. It didn’t make a difference as they delivered a match to live up to the billing of the biggest wrestlemania of all-time. From the spectacular entrances to the dazzling back and forth sequences it is no secret that Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch are some of the biggest names in the company and began the new era.
