NFL Week 13 Picks Against the Spread, Betting Lines, and Predictions

Betting lines and picks for week 13 in the NFL powered by Circa Sports.

Channeling our inner “Jerry Maguire” character, the intentions for this week are to “Show me the money!” While our Rod Tidwell impersonation may have fallen as short as last week’s predictions, we double down on this week’s formidable advice. We may not be a sports agent like Jerry Maguire, but we certainly intend to be an agent for solid insight.

Trending this week: The Rams have covered the past three meetings against the Seahawks and six of the last seven. The Green Bay Packers and their “leader,” Aaron Rodgers, have won and covered the previous seven meetings against their rivals, the Chicago Bears. The New Orleans Saints have won and covered the last four meetings against Brady and the Tampa Bay Bucs until week two of this season.

The dominating teams of the divisional matchups beg the question, “Show me the money!” and we certainly have the chance to turn it around with our seasoned input for all of our loyal readers. To that end, we do hope to show you the money.

Seahawks (-7) vs Rams  Over/Under 41

As previously mentioned, the Rams have owned the Seahawks. They won six of the last seven meetings, including the 2020 Wild Card playoff win. This year, however, is totally different. The defending champion, the Rams, are out of playoff contention and banged up on both sides of the ball. There is no Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, Allen Robinson, or Aaron Donald. Instead, the Rams pretty much have a JV team on the offensive side of the ball. Although the defense still has Jalen Ramsey and Bobby Wagner, it has definitely softened. The Seahawks are vying for their playoff lives, and they need every win possible to show anyone the money. Coming off two losses in a row, the Hawks now know that there is no better opportunity to get back on track, let alone cover, than now.

Our pick:  Seahawks-7

Titans at Eagles (-4.5) Over/Under 44.5

We picked the Titans last week against a banged-up Bengals team but whiffed on that one. Since this week’s theme is based on the art of redemption and to “show the money,” we are going to give the Titans another chance. Both of these teams are very run-dominant. The only exception is that the Titans are ranked third against the run and first in third-down defense. The Eagles’ defense, however, struggles against the run, as they have allowed 90+ rushing yards in three games. Derrick Henry smells trouble for the Eagles. Eight of the 11 Titans games this year have been decided by one possession, and Vrabel, as the Titans head coach, is 25-13 in those games. We like the Titans to cover here as our lock of the week.

Our pick: Titans +4.5

Chargers at Raiders (-1) Over/Under 50.5

I don’t know what is, but we have a weird affection for the 4-7 Las Vegas Raiders. Perhaps it is related to the week’s “money” theme? They are the most talented underachieving team we’ve seen in a while, yet this team never quits. They have won two in a row in back-to-back overtime victories. The Raiders must keep winning to ensure their slim playoff hopes stay alive. Raiders offense is very explosive, as they are a top-10 statistical offense in every category and have the fewest giveaways of any offense in the league. The Chargers right now are reeling despite a thrilling win over the Cardinals last week. They statistically are one of the worst rushing defenses in the league, and that doesn’t bode well going up against the hottest running back in the league, Josh Jacobs. They have allowed 150+ rushing yards in their last five games… yikes. We like the Raiders again; hopefully, they will come through for us.

Our pick: Raiders -1

Colts at Cowboys (-10.5) Over/Under 44

Like last week, this team is another big favorite we are betting on, but we like the Cowboys in this one. The Indianapolis Colts are a mess on offense in the passing game. If you watched the Monday game and heard Troy Aikman’s announcing, you heard how disgusted he was with the Colts passing. Matt Ryan is one of the most turnover-prone QBs in the league, and as a team, the Colts have the second most turnovers. That does not fair well going up against the Cowboys defense that is sixth-ranked in takeaways and is the best in the league against the pass. Here comes #11 from heaven, Micah Parsons, about to wreak havoc. Dallas on offense with Ezekiel Elliot and Tony Pollard is a dynamic rushing duo against a middle-of-the-pack rushing defense. We like the Cowboys to win big here.

Our pick: Cowboys -10.5
