Lakers to host preseason games in Las Vegas, Palm Springs

The Lakers will return to Las Vegas for the first time since winning the NBA Cup during the league's inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament last season.

LOS ANGELES — The Lakers will return to Las Vegas for a preseason game game against the Golden State Warriors at T-Mobile Arena on Oct. 15, the team announced Friday.

It will be the Lakers’ first game in Las Vegas since winning the NBA Cup during the league’s inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament last season.

The Lakers will open the preseason with a pair of games in Greater Palm Springs at Acrisure Arena, hosting the Minnesota Timberwolves on Oct. 4 and the Phoenix Suns on Oct. 6.

The Lakers have a long tradition of playing preseason games in both Las Vegas and the Coachella Valley. Theymost recently hosted the Suns at a sold-out Acrisure Arena during the 2023 preseason.

Individual game tickets for contests in Las Vegas and Greater Palm Springs will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Monday. Tickets for the matchup in Las Vegas on Oct. 15 will be available to purchase at axs.com and at the T-Mobile Arena box office. Tickets for Oct. 4 and 6 at Acrisure Arena in the Coachella Valley can be purchased via Ticketmaster or at the Acrisure Arena Ticketmaster box office.
