CARSON, Calif. — The LA Galaxy’s upcoming Leagues Cup match against Club León was rescheduled for Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Dignity Health Sports Park.
The game was originally scheduled for Tuesday night.
Tickets purchased for the Tuesday match will be honored for the rescheduled date, the Galaxy said a statement.
Club León was stranded in Vancouver after a 2-2 draw against the Whitecaps in regular time that it won 16-15 on penalty kicks in its Leagues Cup opener.
Afterwards, León dealt with “significant disruptions” in the team’s preparations to depart the city after a “mechanical issue” affected the charter flight scheduled to take the team to Los Angeles, according to the statement.
