LOS ANGELES — On Wednesday, USC announced the kickoff times and broadcast information for its first three football matchups of the 2023 season.
The Trojans will open their 2023 campaign on Saturday, August 26, in a Week 0 matchup against San Jose State. The game will kick off at 5:00 PM PDT, and it will air on the Pac-12 Network.
The following week, USC will once again be on the Pac-12 Network, in all likelihood for the final time ever, when they host Nevada at 3:30 PM PDT. (USC plays two nonconference home games in 2023, meaning that it is contractually required to make two appearances on Larry Scott’s colossal failure of a television network. With the Trojans set to depart for the Big Ten following the 2023 season, however, this will thankfully be their final season having to play games on the Pac-12 Network.)
On September 9, USC will host Stanford in the final Pac-12 addition of the Trojans’ oldest rivalry matchup. The game will kick off at at 7:30 PM PDT on Fox.
In addition, it was previously announced that USC’s October 14 rivalry matchup with Notre Dame in South Bend will kick off at 4:30 PM PDT/7:30 PM EDT. It will air on NBC.
Kickoff times and television networks for USC’s remaining eight games f the 2023 season will be announced either six or 12 days ahead of time. Notable matchups include a trip to Oregon on November 11 and visits from Utah, Washington, and UCLA on October 21, November 4, and November 18, respectively.
