LAS VEGAS — While the Raiders front office was handling draft day proceedings in Henderson, members of Raider Nation and a contingent of current and former players descended on Omnia Nightclub in the legendary Caesar’s Palace for the draft party.

Punter and fan favorite AJ Cole served as the emcee for the ceremonies, and he was joined by teammates such as Christian Wilkins, Jack Jones and Zamir White on stage throughout the night.

“You can definitely just see the fandom, all that good stuff,” Wilkins told the media. “It’s such a storied franchise, such a storied organization. There’s a lot of fans all over, you can just see it and you can tell the energy.”

Raiders legends Marcus Allen, Charles Woodson and Rich Gannon were also in attendance to help Raider Nation ring in their new draft class.

The club’s reaction to the Raider’s selection of Georgia tight end Brock Bowers was subdued, and it wasn’t just because of the nightclub cannons and the confetti falling to commemorate the pick.

The Falcons selection of Michael Penix with the eighth pick and the Broncos selection of Bo Nix at 12 both elicited far more colorful responses from the fans in attendance, as they were the two first round quarterbacks slated to possibly fall to the Raiders at 13.
