Derrick Henry and Josh Jacobs are back from their respective bye weeks, but is D’Andre Swift the guy to watch when he returns to action in Week 7? Can Breece Hall and Dameon Pierce keep up their star production as rookies? All of that and more are answered in this week’s edition of RB Rankings.
1. Austin Ekeler, Chargers vs. Seahawks
2. Saquon Barkley, Giants vs. Jaguars
Saquon Barkley continues his dominant “comeback season” fantasy campaign and shows no signs of slowing down. The Jaguars have a good enough run defense to stop many running backs, but not Saquon Barkley.
3. Derrick Henry, Titans vs. Colts
4. Josh Jacobs, Raiders vs. Texans
5. Christian McCaffrey, Panthers vs. Buccaneers
6. D’Andre Swift, Lions vs. Cowboys
7. Jonathan Taylor, Colts vs. Titans
8.. Kenneth Walker III, Seahawks vs. Chargers
Kenneth Walker rushed for almost 100 yards and a touchdown against the Cardinals last weekend and now plays the 32nd-ranked run defense in the NFL. Walker will have well over 100 yards rushing and at least 1 TD against a struggling Chargers run defense.
9. Dameon Pierce, Texans vs. Raiders
10. Rhamondre Stevenson, Patriots vs. Bears
11. Nick Chubb, Browns vs. Ravens
12. Leonard Fournette, Buccaneers vs. Panthers
13. Breece Hall, Jets vs. Broncos
Breece Hall has been a top 5 RB for two weeks in a row, but this is a very tough matchup for him and the Jets. The Broncos’ run defense is spectacular and that could very well be enough to slow down the favorite for OROY in Breece Hall.
14. Alvin Kamara, Saints vs. Cardinals
15. Najee Harris, Steelers vs. Dolphins
Najee Harris hasn’t been the first-round pick many fantasy owners have been hoping for, but the Steelers’ schedule gets easier from now on and as a result, Harris should play better and produce at a high level again.
16. JK Dobbins, Ravens vs. Browns
17. Joe Mixon, Bengals vs. Falcons
18. Travis Etienne Jr., Jaguars vs. Giants
19. Jeff Wilson Jr., 49ers vs. Chiefs
20. Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Chiefs vs. 49ers
