Fantasy Football PPR QB and Defense Rankings Week 11

This is where your fantasy team makes a run at the playoffs and having a high end QB1 and a solid defense makes that task way easier to accomplish.

With Tua Tagovailoa, Trevor Lawrence, Tom Brady, and Geno Smith on bye weeks, who are the best QB streaming options to win you your fantasy matchup this weekend? If you are looking to find a defense off of waivers, there may not be a better option than the Packers and Commanders for this weekend.

1. Josh Allen, Bills vs. Browns

Josh Allen and the Bills will want to avenge their embarrassing loss in overtime to the Vikings and Allen will have one of his better performances this season.

2. Justin Fields, Bears vs. Falcons

Justin Fields has put up over 39 fantasy points in back-to-back weeks and should continue to dominate against the Falcons this weekend.

3. Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs vs. Chargers

Patrick Mahomes had his worst fantasy performance of the season in week 2 against the Chargers but this time will be different with the injuries to the Chargers’ secondary.

4. Jalen Hurts, Eagles vs. Colts

Jalen Hurts averages 24 fantasy points on the season and though the Colts won last weekend, their defense hasn’t been consistent at all.

5. Lamar Jackson, Ravens vs. Panthers

Lamar Jackson’s production fluctuates based on how much he runs the football, but against a struggling Panthers defense, Jackson has arguably the highest upside of any QB in fantasy football this weekend.

6. Daniel Jones, Giants vs. Lions

Daniel Jones‘ rushing abilities make him one of the higher upside streaming QB’s on a week-to-week basis. The Lions have one of the worst defenses in he NFL and Jones is poised for a big day.

7. Joe Burrow, Bengals vs. Steelers

Joe Burrow has thrown for at least two touchdowns in six out of nine games, and even without Ja’Marr Chase, he has enough weapons to produce at an elite level in fantasy football.

8. Justin Herbert, Chargers vs. Chiefs

Justin Herbert looked elite in the first half against the 49ers, who have one of the better defenses in football. His second half wasn’t great, but both Keenan Allen and Mike Williams practiced this week, meaning he could get some weapons back for the primetime divisional matchup against the Chiefs.

9. Dak Prescott, Cowboys vs. Vikings

Dak Prescott has been fantastic since his return with a total of 54 fantasy points in three weeks. The Vikings have some playmakers on defense, but this should be a high scoring game, benefiting Prescott tremendously.

10. Kyler Murray, Cardinals vs. 49ers

Kyler Murray is still listed as questionable, but he looked like an MVP candidate against the 49ers in two games last season. Murray could also get WR Marquise Brown back to pair alongside DeAndre Hopkins to make the Cardinals even more lethal on offense.

11. Kirk Cousins, Vikings vs. Cowboys

Kirk Cousins is coming off of five straight games with 15 or more fantasy points. He rarely gets over 22 fantasy points, but Cousins is a super consistent QB with some upside.

12. Taylor Heinicke, Commanders vs. Texans

Taylor Heinicke was named the starter over a healthy Carson Wentz for the Texans game this weekend and he has this Commanders offense clicking on all cylinders.

13. Jared Goff, Lions vs. Giants

Jared Goff has been a consistent 14-18 fantasy point scorer, and even though the Giants defense is good, he is a solid streaming option for this weekend.

14. Russell Wilson, Broncos vs. Raiders

Russell Wilson has not been good at all this season, but the Raiders have one of the worst pass defenses in football making him a solid streaming option at QB for this weekend.

15. Jimmy Garoppolo, 49ers vs. Cardinals?

Jimmy Garoppolo didn’t throw a passing TD last weekend, but he rushed for one and has a completion percentage of almost 70%. Though Garoppolo still makes some very bad decisions that cost the 49ers games, he has the offensive weapons around him to succeed in fantasy football.

Top 10 defenses for this weekend

1. Philadelphia Eagles, Opponent: Indianapolis Colts

The Eagles run defense hasn’t been as good as it was earlier this season, but the Colts offense isn’t special by any means and Jonathan Taylor is having a tough year.

2. Washington Commanders, Opponent: Houston Texans

The Commanders forced 3 turnovers against the best team in football last weekend. The Texans are the worst team in football making this a positive matchup for the Commanders.

3. Baltimore Ravens, Opponent: Carolina Panthers

With P.J. Walker out, either Baker Mayfield or Sam Darnold will be in at QB for the Panthers, and the Ravens have played elite defense over the past 5 weeks.

4. Green Bay Packers, Opponent: Tennessee Titans

Besides Derrick Henry the Titans don’t know how to utilize their offensive weapons in Treylon Burks, Robert Woods, and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine which won’t bode well against a good defense in the Packers.

5. New York Jets, Opponent: New England Patriots

The Jets have won most of their games this season with elite defensive play and the Patriots have struggled immensely on offense in recent weeks.

6. San Francisco 49ers, Opponent: Arizona Cardinals

There is certainly an argument for 49ers to be ranked higher on this list considering they rank toward the top in every single defensive metric. However, the Cardinals have owned the 49ers in recent years for whatever reason and they could be getting Marquise Brown and Kyler Murray back alongside DeAndre Hopkins.

7. Buffalo Bills, Opponent: Cleveland Browns

Even though the Bills defense struggled last weekend, the Browns don’t have the offensive firepower that the Vikings have and they will struggle as a result.

8. New England Patriots, Opponent: New York Jets

The Patriots have had an elite defense all year and the Jets have an abysmal offense without Breece Hall.

9. Los Angeles Rams, Opponent: New Orleans Saints

The Saints offense has gone stagnant in recent weeks and Andy Dalton may be the worst QB in the NFL this season. As a result, the Rams will be motivated to get a much needed win and dominate defensively without Cooper Kupp and they will do just that.

10. Tennessee Titans, Opponent: Green Bay Packers

Just like the Jets, the Titans have thrived on consistently dominant defense despite an underwhelming offense. The Packers are coming off a huge game and have the momentum to put up another stellar performance, which is why the Titans aren’t higher on this list.
