Eddie Kingston spoke with The Sporting Tribune's Adrian Hernandez weeks ahead of AEW Full Gear from The Forum in Los Angeles.

LAS VEGAS — You will find nobody more real in All Elite Wrestling than Eddie “Mad King” Kingston. Growing up in New York City listening to Wu-Tang Clan, Nas, Tupac, DMX to name a few, and being a professional wrestler that is frequently seen in Timberland’s you would never assume that Eddie Kingston is one of the most out-spoken and honest voices in professional wrestling on the topic of Mental Health. Eddie has  talked about it in interviews, he wrote an excellent piece for The Players’ Tribune in 2021 about the topic and has recorded special videos to help promote the new 988 helpline, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and the Crisis Text Line.

While in Las Vegas for New Japan Pro Wrestling Strong’s Fighting Spirit Unleashed where successfully defended the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship Eddie Kingston spoke with Adrian Hernandez weeks ahead of AEW Full Gear from The Forum in Los Angeles.

Be sure to watch The Sporting Tribune Today on BLEAV.TV, Fubo TV, Glewed.TV, & more streaming platforms starting this Friday at 3pmPT/6pmET for a special presentation of our interview with Eddie Kingston.
