IRVINE, Calif. – The Ducks were back on the ice for practice on Saturday morning ahead of their Sunday game against the Vegas Golden Knights.
Trevor Zegras and Leo Carlsson, who were both not on the ice for Thursday’s practice, participated fully in practice this morning. Ryan Strome, who missed Wednesday’s game and Thursday’s practice due to an illness, also participated in practice today.
Brock McGinn, who has been out with a lower-body injury since the beginning of the season, was also on the ice and participated fully in practice as well.
“It’s awesome being back out there,” said McGinn. “Whenever you’re hurt or out of the lineup, it’s tough looking from the outside. So it’s nice to be back with the guys and practicing and grinding every day.”
Here’s how the Ducks’ lines looked this morning:
Trevor Zegras | Leo Carlsson | Troy Terry |
Frank Vatrano | Mason McTavish | Ryan Strome |
Alex Killorn | Adam Henrique | Jakob Silfverberg |
Ross Johnston | Sam Carrick | Brett Leason |
Max Jones | Benoit-Olivier Groulx | Brock McGinn |
Cam Fowler | Jackson LaCombe |
Pavel Mintyukov | Ilya Lyubushkin |
Urho Vaakanainen | Radko Gudas |
Robert Hägg |
With goaltender Alex Stalock reassigned to AHL San Diego, it appears that John Gibson is good to go after leaving Monday’s game against the Penguins with an upper-body injury.
It looks like Alex Killorn will make his official Ducks debut tomorrow after shedding his non-contact jersey on Thursday and participating fully in practice once again today.
Killorn took up a netfront position on the first power play unit while Strome and Carlsson moved to the second unit. Mason McTavish retained his spot on the top power play.

Tomorrow’s matchup represents a rematch of the Ducks’ season opener, where they fell 4-1 to Vegas in a game that was more tightly contested than the final scoreline represented.
