Chargers vs. Bears break down and game prediction

Sunday night's game against the Chicago Bears is a must win for the Chargers.

Bears (2-5) AT Chargers (2-4)

When: Sunday, 5:20 p.m.

Where: SoFi Stadium

TV/Radio: NBC; 98.7 FM; 105.5 FM/94.3 FM (Spanish)

Line: Chargers by -8.5

Notable injury designations: Chargers: Questionable: TE Gerald Everett (hip), S Alohi Gilman (heel), DB Deane Leonard (hamstring), WR Josh Palmer (knee)

Bears: OUT: DB Jaquan Brisker (illness), OL Nate Davis (ankle) QB Justin Fields (right thumb), DB Terell Smith (illness) Questionable: OL Dan Feeney (knee), DB Eddie Jackson (foot)

What’s at stake? For the Chargers it is to fall 2-5 and have even more questions being throw at head coach Brandon Staley about his job and also on whether he has lost the locker room. For the Bears, they are still in the playoff hunt in a weak NFC. They aren’t far behind if they can put some wins together they could climb back.

Who’s better? The Chargers? They have more talent but they haven’t been able to over come certain mistakes this season.

Matchup to watch: Tyson Bagent vs. Chargers defense. They must throw different blitzes and disguise coverages to confuse the rookie quarterback that is starting in his second NFL game.

Chargers win if: they can get out of their own way. They keep making silly mistakes that cost them games. After allowing over 400 yards off offense to the Chiefs in the first half last week they still were only down by seven. They need a complete game.

Fantasy sleeper: Quentin Johnston. It has to be this game…right?

Prediction: …..Chargers? If they lose this game then…they can’t lose this game can they? This is a must win in late October. Falling to 2-5 might be a hole they can’t climb out of. Chargers 23 Bears 9
