Boston Breach’s Methodz announces CDL retirement

Anthony “Methodz” Zinni of the Boston Breach announced his retirement from Call of Duty competition.

The 25-year-old delivered the news before a hometown crowd at the CDL Major II in Boston.

“After 10+ years of competing, I’m retiring from professional Call of Duty,” he posted Sunday on Twitter. “Thank you for changing my life.”

Methodz, who said he plans to move into full-time content creation, previously played for the Toronto Ultra in the Call of Duty League.

He retires with three major tournament wins and more than $234,000 in career earnings, per Dotesports.com.

The Breach were eliminated from the CDL Major II on Saturday, finishing in fifth-sixth place.
