FIFA unveils official 2026 World Cup tournament poster to mark 100 days to go taken in Los Angeles (World Cup)

LOS ANGELES -- With 100 days remaining until the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the final piece of the tournament’s official poster collection was unveiled Monday, highlighting the artistic collaboration between the three host nations — the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The Official FIFA World Cup 2026™ Tournament Poster was revealed as part of the milestone celebration ahead of what will be the largest World Cup in history. The tournament kicks off June 11 at Mexico City Stadium and concludes July 19 at New York New Jersey Stadium, spanning 104 matches across North America.

Designed as a collage-style composition, the poster features a player at its center, symbolizing soccer’s power to unite people across borders and cultures. For the first time in FIFA World Cup history, three artists collaborated on the official tournament poster: Canadian illustrator Carson Ting, Mexican artist Minerva GM and American conceptual artist Hank Willis Thomas. The trio combined their distinct styles to create a piece that reflects the diversity, connectivity and shared passion that define the 2026 tournament.

The unveiling completes the FIFA World Cup 2026 poster collection, which began last year with the release of 16 Official Host City Posters representing the cities staging matches throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.

“In 100 days, FIFA will welcome the world to North America to witness the greatest show on earth,” FIFA President Gianni Infantino said in a statement. “The Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Tournament Poster captures the energy, diversity and shared passion that will define the most inclusive edition of the tournament in history. From kick-off to the final whistle, billions of fans — in stadiums and across every continent — will experience moments that go beyond football, uniting cultures and celebrating unity on a truly global stage.”

The 2026 tournament will be a landmark event for multiple reasons. It marks the first time the World Cup will be co-hosted by three nations and the first edition to feature 48 teams. As of the 100-day mark, 42 teams have qualified, including four first-time participants: Cabo Verde, Curaçao, Jordan and Uzbekistan. The final six spots will be determined through the FIFA World Cup 2026 Play-Off Tournament and European play-offs later this month during the international match window.

Ticket sales are expected to enter the Last-Minute Sales phase in April, when remaining inventory will be available on a first-come, first-served basis through the end of the tournament. Hospitality packages, which include premium seating and match tickets, are currently available.

With three countries preparing to welcome the world, the countdown to what organizers describe as the most inclusive and expansive World Cup ever is officially on.
