Claude, Thomas guide USC men's to their first Big Ten win taken in Seattle (USC)

SEATTLE — Desmond Claude scored 20 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and Saint Thomas scored 19 points to lift USC (6-4) to a 85-61 Big Ten victory Saturday over Washington (6-3) before 7,251 at Alaska Airlines Arena.

Coach Eric Musselman and the Trojans secure their first Big Ten victory. USC never trailed against Washington, holding the lead for 39 minutes. 

The Trojans shot 44% from three-point range, while the Huskies shot 26% behind the arch. 

At halftime, USC led 51 to 25. 

The Trojans manhandled the Huskies in the paint, outscoring Washington 40-26. USC had seven blocks. 

Trojans’ Wesley Yates scored 19 points. Rashaun Agee finished with 15 points and 7 rebounds off the bench. 

Huskies’ Mekhi Mason scored 15 points. Zoom Diallo had 10 points and 4 assists.
